कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
ततः स भगवान् देवो लोकस्त्रष्टा पितामह:,(एवमुक्त्वा जटाभारं संयम्य प्रपितामह: । परिधायाजिन गाढं संन्यस्य च कमण्डलुम् ।।
tataḥ sa bhagavān devo lokasraṣṭā pitāmahaḥ | (evam uktvā jaṭābhāraṃ saṃyamya prapitāmahaḥ | paridhāyājinaṃ gāḍhaṃ saṃnyasya ca kamaṇḍalum || pratodapāṇir bhagavān āruroha rathaṃ tadā |)
তাৰ পিছত লোকস্ৰষ্টা ভগবান পিতামহ—জগতৰ প্ৰপিতামহ—এনেদৰে কৈ নিজৰ জটাৰ গধুৰ গুচ্ছ বাঁধি সংযম কৰিলে। মৃগচৰ্মৰ বসন দৃঢ়কৈ পৰিধান কৰি কমণ্ডলু একাষে থৈ, হাতত চাবুক লৈ তেওঁ তৎক্ষণাৎ ৰথত আৰোহণ কৰিলে।
पितामह उवाच
Even a figure marked by renunciation (deerskin, water-pot, matted locks) may set aside ascetic emblems and take up instruments of action when the maintenance of order and duty requires decisive intervention.
Brahmā, addressed as the world-creator and grandsire, finishes speaking, binds his matted hair, tightens his deerskin garment, sets aside his kamaṇḍalu, takes a whip, and mounts a chariot—signaling immediate readiness to act.
