द्यां युगं युगचर्माणि संवर्तकबलाहकान्‌ । कालपृष्ठोडथ नहुष: कर्कोटकधनंजयौ

Transliteration

dyāṃ yugaṃ yugacarmāṇi saṃvartakabalāhakān | kālapṛṣṭho ’tha nahuṣaḥ karkoṭakadhanaṃjayau ||

Translation

আকাশেই হ’ল যুগ (জোঁৱাল); যুগযুগান্তৰৰ চর্ম হ’ল যুগচর্ম (জোঁৱালৰ পট্টা); আৰু প্ৰলয়কালৰ মেঘ হ’ল বন্ধনৰ সামগ্ৰী। কালপৃষ্ঠ, নহুষ, কৰ্কোটক, ধনঞ্জয় আদি নাগ আৰু অন্য নাগসকল ঘোঁৰাৰ কেশ বাঁধাৰ ৰছী হ’ল; আৰু দিশা-বিদিশাই ৰথাশ্বৰ বাগডোৰৰূপ ধাৰণ কৰিলে।
