प्रेषिता द्विजमुख्येन मर्माण्युद्दिश्य सर्वतः । द्विजश्रेष्ठ कृपाचार्यने सब ओरसे आपके मर्मस्थानोंको लक्ष्य करके बाण चलाये थे; परंतु दैवयोगसे ही वे मर्मभेदी बाण आपके मर्मस्थानोंपर नहीं पड़े हैं

preṣitā dvijamukhyena marmāṇy uddiśya sarvataḥ |

সঞ্জয়ে ক’লে—দ্বিজমুখ্য কৃপাচাৰ্যই চাৰিওফালৰ পৰা তোমাৰ মর্মস্থান লক্ষ্য কৰি শৰ নিক্ষেপ কৰিছিল; কিন্তু দैৱযোগে সেই মর্মভেদী বাণ তোমাৰ মর্মস্থানত নপৰিল। যুদ্ধত বিধি অনুকূল নহ’লে মানৱ-কৌশলো ব্যৰ্থ হয়।
