तान् सम्मिमर्दिषून् नागान् पार्ष्ण्यड्गुष्ठाडकुशैर्भशम् । चोदितान् पार्षतो बाणैर्नाराचैर भ्यवीवृषत्
tān sammimardiṣūn nāgān pārṣṇyaṅguṣṭhāḍakuśair bhaśam | coditān pārṣato bāṇair nārācair abhyavīvṛṣat ||
সঞ্জয়ে ক’লে—শত্ৰুসেনাক চেপি-মাৰি পেলাবলৈ উদ্যত সেই মহাবলী হাতীবোৰক গোড়ালি, পায়েৰ আঙুলি আৰু অঙ্কুশৰ কঠোৰ আঘাতে বাৰে বাৰে তাড়ি আগবঢ়োৱা হৈছিল; তেতিয়া পৃষতপুত্ৰ ধৃষ্টদ্যুম্নে ওচৰৰ পৰা বাণ, বিশেষকৈ লৌহমুখ নাৰাচ,ৰ ঘনঘোৰ বৰ্ষা কৰি ৰণকোলাহলৰ মাজতে সিহঁতৰ ধাৱন ৰোধ কৰিলে।
