ततस्तु त्वरयन् योधान् शड्खशब्देन मारिष । कर्णो निष्कर्षयामास कौरवाणां महद् बलम्,मान्यवर! तदनन्तर शंखध्वनिके द्वारा योद्धाओंको जल्दी करनेका आदेश देते हुए कर्णने कौरवोंकी विशाल वाहिनीको शिविरोंसे बाहर निकाला
tatastu tvarayan yodhān śaṅkhaśabdena māriṣa | karṇo niṣkarṣayāmāsa kauravāṇāṃ mahad balam ||
সঞ্জয়ে ক’লে—তাৰ পাছত, মান্যনীয়জন! শঙ্খধ্বনিৰে যোদ্ধাসকলক ত্বৰান্বিত কৰি কৰ্ণে কৌৰৱসকলৰ বৃহৎ বাহিনী শিবিৰৰ পৰা বাহিৰলৈ উলিয়াই আনিলে। তেওঁৰ আদেশ আৰু ধ্বনি-সঙ্কেতে সমগ্ৰ দলে যুদ্ধাভিমুখে আগবাঢ়িল।
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical gravity of martial leadership: a commander’s call (symbolized by the conch) organizes collective action and hastens many toward battle. It implicitly points to kṣatriya-duty—decisive command and readiness—while reminding that such urgency carries responsibility for the consequences of war.
Sañjaya reports that Karṇa, using the conch-blast as a signal, urges the warriors to move quickly and leads the large Kaurava force out from the camp, indicating the army’s immediate preparation to engage in battle.
