Droṇa–Sātyaki Engagement
ततोडब्रवीद् वासुदेवो धनंजयमिदं वच: । पार्थ पार्थ महाबाहो न नः कालात्ययो भवेत्
tato 'bravīd vāsudevo dhanañjayam idaṁ vacaḥ | pārtha pārtha mahābāho na naḥ kālātyayo bhavet ||
তাৰ পাছত বাসুদেৱে ধনঞ্জয়ক ক’লে— “পার্থ, পাৰ্থ, মহাবাহো! আমাৰ যেন সময় নষ্ট নহয়।”
संजय उवाच
Do not postpone righteous action: in moments of crisis, dharma requires timely decision and execution. Delay itself can become a fault when it causes duty to be missed.
Sañjaya reports that Kṛṣṇa (Vāsudeva) speaks to Arjuna (Dhanañjaya), calling him ‘Pārtha’ and ‘mighty-armed,’ and urges him to act quickly so that their side does not lose the crucial moment in the unfolding battle.
