तस्मिन्‌ संवितते यज्ञे दक्षिणामत्यकालयत्‌ । उस विशाल यज्ञमें नाना प्रकारके रत्नों तथा भाँति-भाँतिके अन्नोंके पर्वत-समान ढेर उन्होंने दक्षिणारूपमें दिये

tasmin saṃvitate yajñe dakṣiṇām atyakalayat |

নাৰদে ক’লে—সেই যজ্ঞ বিধিপূৰ্বক বিস্তৃত হৈ প্ৰবৃত্ত হোৱাৰ পাছত ৰজাই অপূৰ্ব দক্ষিণা বণ্টন কৰিলে। সেই মহাযজ্ঞত তেওঁ নানাবিধ ৰত্ন আৰু বিভিন্ন ধান্যৰ পৰ্বতসম ঢিপা দক্ষিণাৰূপে দান দিলে, যাৰ দ্বাৰা যজ্ঞব্যৱস্থা আৰু লোকধৰ্ম ধাৰিত থাকিল।
