tasya kruddhaḥ kṛpo rājan śaktiṃ cikṣepa dāruṇām

The verse highlights how anger (krodha) drives warriors to extreme actions, suggesting an ethical warning: when wrath governs judgment, violence escalates and dharma becomes harder to discern and uphold amid war.
Sañjaya reports to King Dhṛtarāṣṭra that Kṛpa, enraged at his opponent, throws a dreadful śakti weapon, marking a sharp escalation in the combat described in this section of Droṇa Parva.
