वासवी-शक्तेः प्रयोगः, घटोत्कच-वधोत्तर-शोकः, व्यासोपदेशश्च

अभ्यद्रवत्‌ ततो द्रोणो यदुवीरजिघांसया । सोमदत्तको युयुधानके बाणोंसे पीड़ित एवं अचेत हुआ देख द्रोणाचार्य यदुवीर सात्यकिका वध करनेकी इच्छासे उनकी ओर दौड़े

abhyadravat tato droṇo yaduvīra-jighāṃsayā | somadattakaḥ yuyudhānake bāṇaiḥ pīḍitaṃ evaṃ acetaṃ dṛṣṭvā droṇācāryaḥ yaduvīra-sātyakī-vadha-icchayā tasyāṃ diśi dhāvata |

সঞ্জয়ে ক’লে—তাৰ পাছত দ্ৰোণাচাৰ্য যাদুবীৰ সাত্যকিক বধ কৰিবৰ ইচ্ছাৰে আগবাঢ়ি ধাৱিত হ’ল। যুযুধানৰ বাণে পীড়িত হৈ সোমদত্ত অচেতন হৈ পৰি থকা দেখি, সাত্যকিক বধ কৰাৰ বাসনাৰে তেওঁ তাৰ ফালে তীব্ৰ বেগেৰে ধাৱিত হ’ল।
