अत्र कार्य समाधत्स्व प्राप्तकालमरिंदम । स्थाने वा गमने वापि दूरं यातश्न सात्यकि:

atra kāryaṃ samādhatsva prāptakālam ariṃdama |
sthāne vā gamane vāpi dūraṃ yātaḥ sa sātyakiḥ ||
“শত্ৰুদমন! এই মুহূর্তত যি কৰ্তব্য উপস্থিত, তাত মন স্থিৰ কৰা। ইয়াতে থাকিবা নে অন্য ঠাইলৈ যাবা—সিদ্ধান্ত লোৱা; কিয়নো সাত্যকি বহু দূৰলৈ গৈছে।”
संजय उवाच
In a crisis, dharma often appears as timely, situation-specific duty: one must steady the mind, assess the moment, and choose the action—staying or moving—that best serves responsibility rather than hesitation.
Sanjaya reports urgent counsel to a warrior addressed as ‘ariṃdama’: the situation has shifted because Sātyaki has gone far away, so an immediate decision is needed about whether to hold position or relocate on the battlefield.
