व्यूहस्यैव पुनर्दधारें गत्वा द्रोणो व्यवस्थित: । वातायमानैस्तैरश्वैर्नीतो वृष्णिशरार्दितै:,द्रोणाचार्य पुनः व्यूहके ही द्वारपर जाकर खड़े हो गये। सात्यकिके बाणोंसे पीड़ित होकर वायुके समान वेगसे भागनेवाले उनके घोड़ोंने ही उन्हें वहाँ पहुँचा दिया
vyūhasyaiva punar dadhāre gatvā droṇo vyavasthitaḥ | vātāyamānais tair aśvair nīto vṛṣṇiśarārditaiḥ ||
সঞ্জয়ে ক’লে—দ্ৰোণ পুনৰ গৈ ব্যূহৰ দ্বাৰতেই আকৌ স্থিৰ হৈ থাকিল। বৃষ্ণিবীৰ সাত্যকিৰ শৰবিদ্ধ হৈ বায়ুবেগে ধাৱমান তেওঁৰ অশ্বৰাই তেওঁক তাত লৈ গ’ল।
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights kṣatriya-dharma in practice: a commander must reoccupy and defend a strategic point (the formation’s ‘door’) despite pain and disruption. It also shows how agency in war is shared—human resolve and the chariot-team’s momentum together determine outcomes.
Drona, pressured by Sātyaki’s arrow-fire, ends up returning to the entrance of the Kaurava battle-formation and stands there again. His horses, rushing like the wind while wounded by the Vṛṣṇi warrior’s arrows, carry him back to that position.
