हर्ष एव तयोरासीद् द्रोणानीकप्रमुक्तयो: । समीपे सैन्धवं दृष्टवा श्येनयोरामिषं यथा,जैसे मांसका टुकड़ा देखकर दो बाजोंको प्रसन्नता होती है, उसी प्रकार द्रोणाचार्यकी सेनासे मुक्त हुए उन दोनों वीरोंको अपने पास ही जयद्रथको देखकर सब प्रकारसे हर्ष ही हुआ
harṣa eva tayor āsīd droṇānīkapramuktayoḥ | samīpe saindhavaṃ dṛṣṭvā śyenayor āmiṣaṃ yathā ||
দ্ৰোণৰ সেনাব্যূহ ভেদ কৰি মুক্ত হোৱা সেই দুজন বীৰে ওচৰতেই জয়দ্ৰথক দেখি তেনেকৈয়ে হর্ষিত হ’ল, যেন মাংস দেখি দুটা শ্যেন আনন্দিত হয়।
