तामापतन्ती सहसा कौरवाणां महाचमूम् । अभिदुद्राव वेगेन पाण्डव: श्वेतवाहन:,कौरवोंकी उस विशाल वाहिनीको आती देख श्वेत घोड़ोंवाले पाण्डुपुत्र अर्जुन सहसा बड़े वेगसे उसकी ओर दौड़े
tām āpatantīṁ sahasā kauravāṇāṁ mahācamūm | abhidudrāva vegena pāṇḍavaḥ śvetavāhanaḥ ||
কৌৰৱসকলৰ সেই বিশাল সেনা হঠাৎ ধাৱি আহি থকা দেখি, শ্বেত অশ্ববাহিত পাণ্ডৱ অৰ্জুন মহাবেগে তাৰ ফালে ধাৱিত হ’ল।
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights kṣatriya-dharma in action: when a just battle is unavoidable, a warrior-leader must meet danger directly, with steadiness and responsibility rather than hesitation, protecting the larger order (dharma) through disciplined courage.
Sañjaya describes a battlefield moment: the massive Kaurava formation surges forward, and Arjuna—identified by his white-horsed chariot—immediately rushes toward the oncoming host at great speed, initiating direct engagement.
