क्रोधेनाभिप्रजज्वाल दिधक्षन्निव पावक: | भीमसेनको इस प्रकार व्यथितचित्त देखकर घटोत्कच जलानेकी इच्छावाले अग्निदेवकी भाँति क्रोधसे प्रज्वयलित हो उठा
krodhenābhiprajajvāla didhakṣann iva pāvakaḥ |
ভীমসেনক এইদৰে ব্যথিতচিত্ত দেখি ঘটোৎকচ ক্ৰোধে প্ৰজ্বলিত হৈ উঠিল—যেন দগ্ধ কৰিবলৈ উদ্যত অগ্নিদেৱ।
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the destructive momentum of krodha (anger): it can make one blaze with power like fire, but it also warns—by implication—that such heat can consume discernment and restraint, which are central to dharmic conduct even in war.
Sañjaya describes a warrior’s sudden surge of fury on the battlefield, comparing him to fire that flares up as if determined to burn an opponent. The image conveys an imminent, forceful attack driven by wrath.
