সঞ্জয়ে ক’লে—ভীষ্মক বধ কৰিবলৈ নিক্ষিপ্ত সেই গদাৰ আঘাতত ধ্বজসহ, সাৰথিসহ, অশ্বসহ, যোক-ধুৰা আদি সকলো অংশসহ সেই সমগ্ৰ ৰথ চূৰ্ণ-বিচূৰ্ণ হৈ গ’ল।
संजय उवाच

Sañjaya reports that a mace, hurled to kill Bhīṣma, lands with such force that the entire chariot is smashed—banner, charioteer, horses, yoke, pole, and all components breaking apart.
