श्वेतस्य करनिर्मुक्तां निर्मुक्तोरगर्संनिभाम्‌ | राजन! श्वेतके हाथसे छूटकर यमदण्डके समान प्रकाशित होनेवाली और केंचुल छोड़कर निकली हुई सर्पिणीकी भाँति अत्यन्त भय उत्पन्न करनेवाली उस शक्तिको देखकर आपके पुत्रोंके दलमें महान्‌ हाहाकार मच गया

sañjaya uvāca |

śvetasya karanirmuktāṃ nirmuktoragasaṃnibhām |

rājan! śvetake hāthase chūṭakara yamadaṇḍake samāna prakāśita honevālī aura keṃcula choḍakara nikalī huī sarpiṇī-kī bhānti atyanta bhaya utpanna karanevālī us śakti-ko dekhakara āpake putroṃke dala-meṃ mahān hāhākāra maca gayā |

হে ৰাজন! শ্বেতৰ হাতৰ পৰা মুক্ত হৈ যমদণ্ডৰ দৰে দীপ্ত, আৰু কেঁচুলি এৰি ওলাই অহা সৰ্পিণীৰ দৰে ভয়ংকৰ সেই শক্তি দেখি আপোনাৰ পুত্ৰসকলৰ দলে মহা হাহাকাৰ উঠিল।
