Evening Withdrawal after Arjuna’s Counter-Advance
त॑ विसंज्ञं विमनसं त्वरमाणस्तु सारथि: । अपोवाह न सम्भ्रान्त: सर्वलोकस्य पश्यत:,उसे अचेत और अनमना देख सारथि तनिक भी घबराहटमें न पड़कर अत्यन्त उतावलीके साथ सबके देखते-देखते रणभूमिसे दूर हटा ले गया
taṁ visaṁjñaṁ vimanasaṁ tvaramāṇas tu sārathiḥ | apovāha na sambhrāntaḥ sarvalokasya paśyataḥ ||
সঞ্জয়ে ক’লে—তাক অচেতন আৰু বিমন দেখি সাৰথি একেবাৰে বিচলিত নহ’ল; সি তৎক্ষণাৎ ত্বৰিত হৈ, সকলোৰে চকুৰ আগতে, তাক ৰণভূমিৰ পৰা আঁতৰাই লৈ গ’ল॥
संजय उवाच
Steadiness (asambhrama) in crisis is a form of dharma: one should perform one’s role with clarity and courage, protecting life and acting decisively even under public pressure.
A warrior (referred to as “him”) has become unconscious and dispirited; the charioteer, remaining calm, quickly removes him from the battlefield while everyone watches.
