इत्यासीत्‌ तुमुल: शब्द: फाल्गुनस्य रथं प्रति । अर्जुनके रथके समीप “मार डालो, ले आओ, पकड़ लो, बींध डालो, टुकड़े-टुकड़े कर दो” इस प्रकार भयंकर शब्द गूँजने लगा

ityāsīt tumulaḥ śabdaḥ phālgunasya rathaṃ prati |

সঞ্জয়ে ক’লে—এইদৰে ফাল্গুণৰ ৰথৰ প্ৰতি এক প্ৰচণ্ড কোলাহল উঠিল। অৰ্জুনৰ ৰথৰ ওচৰত “মাৰি পেলাও! টানি আনো! ধৰি পেলাও! বিদ্ধ কৰো! টুকুৰা-টুকুৰা কৰি দিয়া!”—এনে ভয়ংকৰ চিঞৰ ধ্বনিত হ’বলৈ ধৰিলে।
