Educational Q&A

The verse highlights dharma expressed as responsible return and familial solidarity: a wise ruler acts with propriety, honoring maternal bonds and restoring social order through respectful reconciliation rather than pride or isolation.

Babhruvāhana, described as wise, travels with both his mothers and arrives in the Kuru country; Yudhiṣṭhira narrates this movement as part of the broader Ashvamedha-related events and the re-linking of allied lineages after turmoil.
