The verse highlights a traditional dharmic vision of the world in which all beings—across different modes of birth and habitats—are encompassed within a single moral and cosmic order, inviting reverence and ethical awareness toward the diversity of life.
Vaiśaṃpāyana reports that the observers (previously mentioned in the chapter) see a wide array of creatures present at the scene—womb-born, egg-born, moisture-born, earth-sprouting, and those associated with mountains and wetlands—emphasizing the breadth of life gathered there.
