श्रीभगवानुवाच कृतो यत्नो मया पूर्व सौशाम्ये कौरवान् प्रति । नाशक्यन्त यदा साम्ये ते स्थापयितुमज्जसा
śrībhagavān uvāca kṛto yatno mayā pūrvaṃ sauśāmye kauravān prati | nāśakyanta yadā sāmye te sthāpayitum ajjasā ||
শ্ৰীভগৱানে ক’লে—পূৰ্বে মই কৌৰৱসকলৰ প্ৰতি সন্ধি আৰু শান্তিৰ বাবে প্ৰচেষ্টা কৰিছিলোঁ; কিন্তু যেতিয়া তেওঁলোক সহজে ঐক্যত দৃঢ়ভাৱে স্থিত হ’ব নোৱাৰিলে, তেতিয়া সেই সামঞ্জস্য স্থায়ী নহ’ল।
