वर्णतो गुणतश्चैव योनितश्वैव तत्त्वतः । सर्वमेतत्तमो विप्रा: कीर्तितं वो यथाविधि,विप्रवरो! वर्ण, गुण, योनि और तत्त्वके अनुसार मैंने आपसे तमोगुणका पूरा-पूरा यथावत् वर्णन किया
varṇato guṇataś caiva yonitaś caiva tattvataḥ | sarvam etat tamo viprāḥ kīrtitaṃ vo yathāvidhi ||
বায়ুৱে ক’লে—হে বিপ্ৰসকল, বৰ্ণ, গুণ, যোনি আৰু তত্ত্ব অনুসাৰে তমস সম্পৰ্কে এই সকলো বৰ্ণনা মই তোমালোকক যথাবিধি কৈ দিলোঁ।
