अध्याय ९ — धृतराष्ट्रस्य युधिष्ठिरं प्रति राजनित्युपदेशः

यद्‌ विशस्ता: कुरुश्रेष्ठ राजानश्न॒ सहस्रश:

yad viśastāḥ kuruśreṣṭha rājānaḥ sahasraśaḥ

হে কুৰুশ্ৰেষ্ঠ, সেই প্ৰশংসিত আৰু খ্যাতিমান ৰজাসকল তাত সহস্ৰ সহস্ৰ সংখ্যাত উপস্থিত আছিল; এই বৃত্তান্তে সেই বিশাল ৰাজসমাবেশৰ কথা সোঁৱৰাই দিয়ে—যাৰ যশ আৰু ঐশ্বৰ্যও কাল, কৰ্তব্য আৰু কৰ্মফলৰ অধীন আছিল।
