अध्याय ९ — धृतराष्ट्रस्य युधिष्ठिरं प्रति राजनित्युपदेशः

राजन् वाक््यं जनस्यास्य मयि सर्व समर्पितम् । वक्ष्यामि तदहं वीर तज्जुषस्व नराधिप,“राजन! वीर नरेश्वर! यहाँ उपस्थित हुए समस्त जनसमुदायने अपना मन्तव्य प्रकट करनेका सारा भार मुझे सौंप दिया है; अतः मैं ही इनकी बातें आपकी सेवामें निवेदन करूँगा। आप सुननेकी कृपा करें
rājan vākyam janasya asya mayi sarva-samarpitam | vakṣyāmi tad ahaṁ vīra taj juṣasva narādhipa ||
ৰাজন! বীৰ নৰেশ্বৰ! ইয়াত উপস্থিত সমগ্ৰ জনসমাজে নিজৰ বক্তব্য কোৱাৰ সকলো ভাৰ মোৰ ওপৰত অৰ্পণ কৰিছে। সেয়ে, হে বীৰ নৰাধিপ, মই সেই কথাই আপোনাৰ আগত নিবেদন কৰিম—কৃপা কৰি শুনি গ্ৰহণ কৰক।
