Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Public Request for Consent to Enter the Forest (अनुज्ञा-प्रार्थना)

ततो<नन्तरमेवात्र सर्ववर्णान्‌ महामते । अन्नपानरसौघेण प्लावयामास पार्थिव:,महामते! तदनन्तर सभी वर्णके लोगोंको भाँति-भाँतिके भोजन और पीनेयोग्य रस प्रदान करके राजाने उन सबको संतुष्ट कर दिया

tato 'nantaram evātra sarvavarṇān mahāmate | annapānarasaughena plāvayāmāsa pārthivaḥ ||

তাৰ পাছতেই, হে মহামতি, সেই ৰজাই সকলো বৰ্ণৰ লোকক অন্ন, পানীয় আৰু নানা ৰসৰ প্ৰাচুৰ্যৰে যেন প্লাৱিত কৰি সকলোকে সন্তুষ্ট কৰিলে।
