Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
नैव लोभ॑ तदा चक्रुस्तत: स्वर्गमवाप्रुवन्
naiva lobhaṁ tadā cakrus tataḥ svargam avāpruvan
ভীষ্মে ক’লে—সেই সময়তো তেওঁলোকে লোভক আশ্ৰয় নকৰিলে; সেয়েহে স্বৰ্গ লাভ কৰিলে। অত্যন্ত ক্ষুধাৰ্ত হৈও, মহাজনসকলে নানাবিধ ভোগেৰে প্ৰলোভিত কৰিলেও, সেই মহাত্মাসকলে কাম-ইচ্ছাৰ বশ নাহ’ল—এই কাৰণেই তেওঁলোকে স্বৰ্গপদ প্ৰাপ্ত কৰিলে।
