Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
रौद्रे लोहितमित्याहुलोहितात् कनकं स्मृतम् । तन्मैत्रमिति विज्ञेयं धूमाच्च वसव: स्मृता:
raudre lohitam ity āhur lohitāt kanakaṃ smṛtam | tan maitram iti vijñeyaṃ dhūmāc ca vasavaḥ smṛtāḥ ||
বসিষ্ঠ ক’লে—ৰৌদ্ৰ ৰূপত তাক ‘লোহিত’ বোলা হয়; সেই লোহিতৰ পৰা ‘কনক’ (সোণ) উৎপন্ন হয় বুলি স্মৃত। সেই কনক ‘মৈত্ৰ’—মিত্ৰতত্ত্বৰ সৈতে সম্পৰ্কিত—বুলি বুজিব লাগে; আৰু ধোঁৱাৰ পৰা বসুসকলৰ উৎপত্তি কোৱা হৈছে।
