Chapter 85: Suvarṇasya Janma ca Pradāna-Phalam
The Origin of Gold and the Merit of Gifting
सत्यं च लोकवादो<यं लोके चरति सुव्रता: । स्वयं प्राप्ते परिभवों भवतीति विनिशक्ष॒य:
Bhīṣma uvāca: satyaṃ ca lokavādo ’yaṃ loke carati suvratāḥ | svayaṃ prāpte paribhavo bhavatīti viniścayaḥ ||
ভীষ্ম ক’লে—উত্তম ব্ৰত পালন কৰা গাইবোৰ! লোকত চলি থকা এই প্ৰবাদ সঁচাই—নিমন্ত্ৰণ নোহোৱাকৈ নিজে কাৰোবাৰ ঘৰত গ’লে নিশ্চয়েই অপমান হয়; এইয়েই দৃঢ় সিদ্ধান্ত।
