Go-mahātmyam: Pavitrāṇāṃ Pavitraṃ
Cows and Ghee as Supreme Purifiers
स गतस्तस्य तृप्तिं तु गन्धं सुरभिमुद्विरन् । ददर्शोद्वारसंवृत्तां सुरभिं मुखजां सुताम्
sa gatastasyāḥ tṛptiṁ tu gandhaṁ surabhim udviran | dadarśa udvāra-saṁvṛttāṁ surabhīṁ mukhajāṁ sutām ||
অমৃত পান কৰি তেওঁ সম্পূৰ্ণ তৃপ্ত হোৱাত, তেওঁৰ মুখৰ পৰা মনোহৰ সুগন্ধ ওলাবলৈ ধৰিলে। সেই সুগন্ধৰ সৈতে ‘সুৰভি’ নামৰ গাই প্ৰকট হ’ল; প্ৰজাপতিয়ে তাক নিজৰ মুখজাত কন্যা ৰূপে দেখিলে।
