bhīṣma uvāca | madhyadeśe mahān grāmo brāhmaṇānāṃ babhūva ha | gaṅgāyamunayor madhye yāmunasya girer adhaḥ |

Translation

মধ্যদেশত ব্ৰাহ্মণসকলৰ এক মহান গাঁও আছিল। সেয়া গঙ্গা-যমুনাৰ মাজত, যামুন পৰ্বতৰ তলভাগত অৱস্থিত আছিল।
