Vivāha-dharma: Kanyā-pradāna, Śulka, and Pāṇigrahaṇa-niṣṭhā (अनुशासन पर्व, अध्याय ४४)
विपुल उवाच अजितेन्द्रिय दुर्बुद्धे पापात्मक पुरन्दर । न चिरं पूजयिष्यन्ति देवास्त्वां मानुषास्तथा
vipula uvāca | ajitendriya durbuddhe pāpātmaka purandara | na ciraṁ pūjayiṣyanti devās tvāṁ mānuṣās tathā ||
বিপুলে ক’লে— ‘হে পুরন্দৰ, পাপাত্মা! তোৰ বুদ্ধি দুষ্ট; তই ইন্দ্ৰিয়জয় কৰিব নোৱাৰিস। তই যদি এই অৱস্থাতে থাকিস, তেন্তে দেৱতা আৰু মানুহেও বেছি দিন তোক পূজা-সম্মান নকৰিব।’
