पात्रलक्षण-परिक्षा (Pātra-Lakṣaṇa Parīkṣā) — Criteria for a Worthy Recipient
यद् ब्राह्मणमुखात् प्राप्तं प्रतिगृह्लन्ति वै वच: । भूतात्मानो महात्मानस्ते न यान्ति पराभवम्
yad brāhmaṇamukhāt prāptaṁ pratigṛhlanti vai vacaḥ | bhūtātmāno mahātmānas te na yānti parābhavam ||
ভীষ্মে ক’লে—যিসকল মহাত্মাই সকলো প্ৰাণীৰ প্ৰতি একাত্মভাব পোষণ কৰে, তেওঁলোকে ব্ৰাহ্মণৰ মুখৰ পৰা অহা বাক্যক প্ৰমাণ বুলি মানি গ্ৰহণ কৰে। তেনে পুৰুষ পৰাভৱ বা বিনাশ লাভ নকৰে; কিয়নো তেওঁলোকে অহংকাৰ বা আবেগ নহয়, ধৰ্মসম্মত পথনির্দেশকেই বাছি লয়।
