Mataṅga–Śakra Dialogue on Tapas, Status, and Moral Qualities
शयानं वीरशयने कालाकाड्'क्षिणमच्युतम् । आज ममुर्भरतश्रेष्ठ द्रष्टकामा महर्षय:
vaiśampāyana uvāca | śayānaṃ vīraśayane kālākāṅkṣiṇam acyutam | ājagmur bharataśreṣṭha draṣṭukāmā maharṣayaḥ ||
বৈশম্পায়নে ক’লে—হে ভৰতশ্ৰেষ্ঠ! ভীষ্ম বীৰশয্যাত (শৰশয্যাত) অচঞ্চলভাৱে শায়িত হৈ মৃত্যুৰ নিৰ্ধাৰিত ক্ষণৰ অপেক্ষা কৰি আছিল; তেওঁক দৰ্শন কৰিবলৈ ইচ্ছুক বহু মহর্ষি তাত উপস্থিত হ’ল।
