भीष्म उवाच
Read ethically, the verse highlights readiness to cooperate in a dharmic course of action and the importance of preparatory purity—material arrangements (oil, bathing cloth) supporting a larger moral or spiritual purpose.
A woman agrees to what has been proposed (“So be it”) and immediately brings divine oil and a bathing cloth, indicating preparations for bathing/ablution or a purificatory procedure within the ongoing dialogue.
