(Rudra-Stavarāja) — Exempla of Śiva’s Boons and the Hymn’s Phalaśruti
tasyaiva ca prasādena bhaktir utpadyate nṛṇām | yena yānti parāṃ siddhiṃ tad-bhāgavata-cetasaḥ ||
The verse teaches that true devotion is not merely self-produced; it arises through divine grace, and such grace-born, single-minded devotion leads to the highest spiritual perfection.
Vāyudeva is explaining a spiritual principle: the deity’s favor awakens unwavering devotion in people, and those whose minds become wholly oriented toward the Lord attain the supreme goal.
