वायुदेव उवाच
The verse underscores that spiritual or ethical attainment can arise from the grace (prasāda) of a righteous brāhmaṇa, and it highlights satya (truthfulness): authoritative testimony aligned with dharma should be accepted as true.
Vāyudeva states that he has received an excellent result due to a brāhmaṇa’s favor, and he affirms to the Bharata prince addressed (commonly Yudhiṣṭhira) that Bhīṣma’s statements about him are completely true.
