अध्याय १६ — शङ्कर-उमा-वरदानम् तथा तण्डि-स्तुतिः (Śaṅkara–Umā Boon-Granting and Taṇḍi’s Hymn)
नूनमद्य कृतार्था: सम नून॑ प्राप्ता: सतां गतिम् । यां गतिं प्रार्थयन्तीह ज्ञाननिर्मलबुद्धयः
nūnam adya kṛtārthāḥ sma nūnaṁ prāptāḥ satāṁ gatim | yāṁ gatiṁ prārthayantīha jñāna-nirmala-buddhayaḥ ||
বায়ুৱে ক’লে— নিশ্চয় আজ আমি কৃতাৰ্থ হ’লোঁ; নিশ্চয় সৎপুৰুষসকলৰ সেই গতি আমি লাভ কৰিলোঁ। যি গতি জ্ঞানদ্বাৰা নির্মল বুদ্ধিসম্পন্ন জ্ঞানীসকলে এই জগতত প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰে, সেই গতি আমি নিশ্চিতভাৱে প্ৰাপ্ত কৰিলোঁ; সেয়ে আজ আমি সত্যই সিদ্ধ।
