विहायसगतिर्ज्योति: सुरुचि तभुग् विभु: । रविर्विरोचन: सूर्य: सविता रविलोचन:
vihāyasagatir jyotiḥ suruciḥ hutabhuk vibhuḥ | ravir virocanaḥ sūryaḥ savitā ravilocanaḥ ||
ভীষ্মে ক’লে—তেওঁ বিহায়সগতি—আকাশপথে গমনকাৰী; তেওঁ জ্যোতি—স্বয়ংপ্ৰকাশ; তেওঁ সুরুচি—সুন্দৰ কান্তিযুক্ত; তেওঁ হুতভুক্—অগ্নিৰূপে যজ্ঞহবি ভক্ষণকাৰী; তেওঁ বিভু—সৰ্বব্যাপী। তেওঁ ৰবি—ৰস শোষণকাৰী; তেওঁ বিরোচন—বহুবিধে পোহৰ বিস্তাৰকাৰী; তেওঁ সূৰ্য—শোভা প্ৰকাশকাৰী; তেওঁ সবিতা—জগতৰ প্ৰেৰক-জনক; আৰু তেওঁ ৰবিলোচন—যাঁৰ নয়ন সূৰ্যৰূপ।
