श्रीमहेश्वर उवाच
Prosperity is presented as a fruit of merit, but it is ethically framed: one who gains wealth and pleasures should use them in accordance with dharma—especially by giving appropriate gifts to worthy recipients and maintaining disciplined righteous conduct.
Maheśvara describes the outcome in a subsequent birth: the person becomes richly endowed with enjoyments and jewels, and his life is characterized by proper generosity toward the deserving and steadfast commitment to dharmic observance.
