Adhyāya 142: Cyavana, the Devas’ Arrogance, and Vāyu’s Counsel on Protecting Brāhmaṇas
अवर्षति च पर्जन्ये सर्वभूतानि देवराट् । वसिष्ठो जीवयामास येन यातो$क्षयां गतिम्
avarṣati ca parjanye sarvabhūtāni devarāṭ | vasiṣṭho jīvayāmāsa yena yāto 'kṣayāṃ gatim ||
ভীষ্মে ক’লে— বৰষুণ নপৰাত সকলো প্ৰাণী দুখত পৰিল; তেতিয়া মুনিবৰ বশিষ্ঠে তেওঁলোকক জীৱন দান কৰি পুনৰ জীৱিত কৰিলে; সেই পুণ্যফলে তেওঁ অক্ষয় গতি লাভ কৰিলে।
