आजन्मनां शतं चैव नरके पच्यते तु सः । निष्कृतिं च न तस्यापि अनुमन्यन्ति कहिचित्
ājānmanāṁ śataṁ caiva narake pacyate tu saḥ | niṣkṛtiṁ ca na tasyāpi anumaṇyanti kahicit ||
ধৰ্মে ক’লে— সেই ব্যক্তি নিশ্চয়েই শত জন্মলৈকে নৰকত দগ্ধ হয়; আৰু তাৰ বাবে কোনো প্ৰায়শ্চিত্ত কেতিয়াও কাৰো দ্বাৰা অনুমোদিত নহয়।
धर्म उवाच
Certain grave wrongs carry consequences so severe that ordinary expiations (niṣkṛti) are not considered sufficient; moral accountability extends beyond a single lifetime.
