अन्नदानफलं (Anna-dāna-phala) / The Fruit of Food-Giving
अत: पर॑ं नोपवासो भवतीति विनिश्षय: । उवाच भगवान् विष्णु: स्वयमेव पुरातनम्
ataḥ paraṁ nopavāso bhavatīti viniśṣayaḥ | uvāca bhagavān viṣṇuḥ svayam eva purātanam |
নিশ্চয়কৈ জানিবা—এই উপবাসতকৈ শ্ৰেষ্ঠ আন কোনো উপবাস নাই। এই প্ৰাচীন ব্ৰতৰ বিষয়ে স্বয়ং ভগৱান বিষ্ণুৱে উপদেশ দিছিল।
