शतक्रतुरुवाच येषां वेदा निहिता वै गुहायां मनीषिणां सत्यवतां महात्मनाम् | तेषां त्वयैकेन महात्मनास्मि वृद्धस्तस्मात् प्रीतिमांस्तेडहमद्य
śatakratur uvāca yeṣāṃ vedā nihitā vai guhāyāṃ manīṣiṇāṃ satyavatāṃ mahātmanām | teṣāṃ tvayā ekena mahātmanā asmi vṛddhas tasmāt prītimāṃs te ’ham adya ||
শতক্ৰতু (ইন্দ্ৰ) ক’লে—যিসকল সত্যবাদী, মণীষী মহাত্মাৰ হৃদয়-গুহাত বেদসমূহ নিহিত, তেওঁলোকৰ মাজত আপুনি শ্ৰেষ্ঠ। হে মহাত্মন্, কেৱল আপোনাৰ কল্যাণ-চিন্তাৰ ফলতেই মই সমৃদ্ধ হ’লোঁ; সেয়ে আজি মই আপোনাৰ প্ৰতি গভীৰ প্ৰীতিত পৰিপূৰ্ণ।
