अग्नीषोमं वैश्वदेवं धान्वन्तर्यमनन्तरम् । प्रजानां पतये चैव पृथग्घोमो विधीयते,पहले अग्नि और सोमको, फिर विश्वेदेवोंको, तदनन्तर धन्वन्तरिको, तत्पश्चात् प्रजापतिको पृथक्-पृथक् आहुति देनेका विधान है
agnīṣomaṃ vaiśvadevaṃ dhānvantaryam anantaram | prajānāṃ pataye caiva pṛthag homo vidhīyate ||
হোমকর্মত পৃথক পৃথক আহুতি দিয়াৰ বিধান আছে—প্ৰথমে অগ্নি আৰু সোমক একেলগে, তাৰপিছত বিশ্বেদেৱসকলক, তাৰপিছত ধন্বন্তৰিক, আৰু তাৰপিছত প্ৰজাপতিক (প্ৰজাৰ অধিপতিক)।
