Āstīka Stops the Sarpa-satra; Royal Closure and Protective Phalaśruti (आस्तीकः सर्पसत्रनिवर्तनम्)
सर्व विस्तरशस्तात भवाझुछंसितुमहति । सर्पसत्रविधानज्ञविज्ञेया: के च सूतज,तात! ये सब बातें आप विस्तारपूर्वक बताइये। सूतपुत्र! यह भी सूचित कीजिये कि सर्पसत्रकी विधिको जाननेवाले दिद्दानोंमें श्रेष्ठ समझे जानेयोग्य कौन-कौनसे महर्षि वहाँ उपस्थित थे
sarvaṃ vistaraśas tāta bhavān uccheṃsitum arhati | sarpasatravidhānajñā vijñeyāḥ ke ca sūtaja ||
শৌনকে ক’লে—“বৎস! এই সকলো কথা তুমি বিস্তাৰে ক’বলৈ যোগ্য। আৰু হে সূতপুত্ৰ! সৰ্পসত্ৰৰ বিধান-জ্ঞসকলৰ মাজত যিসকলক শ্ৰেষ্ঠ বুলি গণ্য কৰা হয়, সেই ঋষিসকল কোন কোন আছিল আৰু তাতে কোনে কোনে উপস্থিত আছিল—সেয়াও জনোৱা।”
