अन्तरे चैव सम्प्राप्ते कलिद्वापरयोरभूत् । समन्तपज्चके युद्ध कुरुपाण्डवसेनयो:,जब कलियुग और द्वापरकी सन्धिका समय आया, तब उसी समन्तपंचवक्षेत्रमें कौरवों और पाण्डवोंकी सेनाओंका परस्पर भीषण युद्ध हुआ
antare caiva samprāpte kali-dvāparayor abhūt | samantapañcake yuddhaṁ kuru-pāṇḍava-senayoḥ ||
কলি আৰু দ্বাপৰ যুগৰ সন্ধিক্ষণ উপস্থিত হোৱাত, সমন্তপঞ্চক ক্ষেত্ৰতেই কুৰু আৰু পাণ্ডৱ সেনাদ্বয়ৰ মাজত পৰস্পৰ ভয়ংকৰ যুদ্ধ সংঘটিত হ’ল।
