वैशम्पायन उवाच तथेति तत् प्रतिज्ञाय हिडिम्बा राक्षसी तदा । भीमसेनमुपादाय सोर्ध्वमाचक्रमे तत:,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--जनमेजय! तब “ऐसा ही होगा” यह प्रतिज्ञा करके हिडिम्बा राक्षसी भीमसेनको साथ ले वहाँसे ऊपर आकाशमें उड़ गयी
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: tatheti tat pratijñāya Hiḍimbā rākṣasī tadā | Bhīmasenam upādāya sordhvam ācakrame tataḥ ||
বৈশম্পায়নে ক’লে— “তথাস্তु” বুলি প্ৰতিজ্ঞা কৰি, তেতিয়া ৰাক্ষসী হিডিম্বাই ভীমসেনক লগত লৈ সেই ঠাইৰ পৰা ওপৰলৈ আকাশপথে উৰি গ’ল।
