उपपन्नश्चिरस्याद्य भक्षो5यं मम सुप्रिय: । स्नेहस्रवान्‌ प्रस्रवति जिह्दा पर्येति मे सुखम्‌,“आज बहुत दिनोंके बाद ऐसा भोजन मिला है, जो मुझे बहुत प्रिय है। इस समय मेरी जीभ लार टपका रही है और बड़े सुखसे लप-लप कर रही है

Transliteration

upapannaś cirasyādya bhakṣo 'yaṁ mama supriyaḥ | snehāsravān prasravati jihvā paryeti me sukham ||

Translation

“বহুদিনৰ পাছত আজি মোৰ অতি প্ৰিয় আহাৰ পোৱা গ’ল। মোৰ জিভা লালাৰে সিক্ত হৈ ঝৰি আছে, আৰু সুখত লোভেৰে ইফালে-সিফালে নড়ি আছে।”
