कुरूणामस्ति यद्‌ वित्तं राज्यं चेद॑ सराष्ट्रकम्‌ । त्वमेव परमो राजा सर्वे च कुरवस्तव,कौरवोंके पास जो धन, राज्य-वैभव तथा राष्ट्र है, उसके आप ही सबसे बड़े राजा हैं। समस्त कौरव आपके अधीन हैं

Kurūṇām asti yad vittaṁ rājyaṁ ced saraṣṭrakam | tvam eva paramo rājā sarve ca kuravas tava ||
