वृद्धं तं पञ्चतां प्राप्तं महिष्यनुमरिष्यती । और्वेण जानतात्मानं प्रजावन्तं निवारिता ॥ ३ ॥

Transliteration

vṛddhaṁ taṁ pañcatāṁ prāptaṁ mahiṣy anumariṣyatī aurveṇa jānatātmānaṁ prajāvantaṁ nivāritā

Translation

বাহুক বৃদ্ধাৱস্থাত মৃত্যু বৰণ কৰি পঞ্চত্ব লাভ কৰিলে। তেতিয়া তেওঁৰ এজনী ৰাণী সতী-ব্ৰত অনুসৰি তেওঁৰ সৈতে মৰিব খুজিছিল; কিন্তু ঔৰ্ব মুনিয়ে তেওঁ গৰ্ভৱতী বুলি জানি তেওঁক বাধা দিলে।
